The Virtual Story Lab

Our Virtual Story Lab is a dynamic, 24-week, tuition-free program designed to equip young Black men (ages 15-18) from Essex and Union County with the skills and confidence to overcome trauma and express their stories through the art of storytelling. Starting on September 25, 2024, and concluding on April 30, 2025, this program is tailored to address the challenges faced by young men dealing with grief, violence, and systemic barriers, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

Our storytelling workshops provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their creativity, develop their skills (writing, film/photography, broadcasting) and share their personal stories.
